Janet Black, MD

Dr. Black completed her undergraduate studies at Virginia Commonwealth University on Richmond, Virginia with a degree in Biology. She received her medical degree from the Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters in Norfolk.
Dr. Black is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and received numerous awards during medical school. She is a former Chairperson of the Department of Pediatrics at Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor, Florida. Dr. Black cherishes her time with her husband and daughter, and enjoys rowing, photography, piano, scuba diving, skiing, and camping.
