Frequently known as “Dr. Dino” or “Dr. P” to his patients, Dr. Pantages has practiced in the North Pinellas area since 1982. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Pantages graduated from the University of South Florida, and received his medical degree from USF College of Medicine. He completed his pediatric residency at Ohio State University Columbus Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH.
In 1992, Dr. Pantages along with three other pediatricians founded Children’s Medical Center. In 1997, he was voted the finest pediatrician in North Pinellas by Tampa Bay Magazine.
Dr. Pantages served as the President of the Pinellas County Medical Association from 2016-2018. Currently, he sits on the Council of Medical Education, Science, and Public Health for the Florida Medical Association. He is also a Clinical Adjunct and Associate Professor for multiple in-state and out-of-state universities, providing and overseeing the medical education of interns, residents, medical students, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.
Dr. Pantages and his wife are currently involved in training their Golden Retriever (Lola) to become a therapy dog. They both enjoy traveling, but most of all spending time with their family that includes six grandchildren.
